INSOLE

The material that is inside of a shoe and is in contact with the foot when the shoe is being worn. The woven rib on the insole is also used to secure the upper as it is connected with small nails and staples to hold the shoe together until the welt is attached.

At Tricker’s we use full leather insoles in all our footwear, the reason for this is leather breathes better, retains its shape for longer, and helps to avoid common foot problems like excessive sweating and athlete’s foot, making it fantastic for those on their feet for long hours of the day.

Leather insoles also mould to shape of the sole of the wearers foot which gives added comfort.
